Some people say they haven’t yet found themselves. But the self is not something one finds; it is something one creates. You can search all your life for the person you believe you are supposed to become; the person you want to become; the person others tell you to become. In reality, the self which you seek has always existed within you; continually growing and changing form. Constantly being molded by its surroundings, while in turn shaping the lives’ of others. The only person who is justified in receiving credit for the making of your own self and the soul which embodies it, is you. You lived the experiences; you made the choices; you have endured to this moment in time. If you do long to find something, find the will to continue on creating yourself; to continue to grow and learn; to persist. That too lies within you; but unlike the self, it is something which needs to be searched for. Embark on the journey. Only life awaits.
